CRT analyzes how racism permeates law even when not explicitly said "xyz can no longer." Compared to the 3/5ths compromise, which would be allowed to be taught under a CRT ban, which explicitly spells out who they want to leave out from the voting process. I think it's immensely necessary for students to understand how people can become disenfranchised without being explicitly spelled out in law. A lot of approaches to history overlap with each other, and as a result, a blanket ban on CRT means I can't teach basic US history like African Americans in Reconstruction era. The issue with saying CRT is incorporated with history classes is a bit silly.
